VARIETAL:

Mostly Trebbiano Toscano (20%), Passerina (10%) and Pecorino (10%).

CLASSIFICATION:

D.O.C. – Denominazione origine controllata.

AREA OF ORIGIN:

The hilly territory of the province of Ascoli Piceno, excluding
the belt of high hills and mountains and the valley bottom.

COLOUR:

Delicate straw yellow. An early harvest creates a wine with notably
fresh aromas, lively acidity and greenish hues.

FLAVOUR:

A lightly fragrant wine with fresh aromas of green pome fruit and
peach and acacia flowers.

TASTE:

Dry, savoury, harmonious and slightly acidic. The myriad tastes, aromas
and textures blend effortlessly with subtle pseudo-sweet, tangy notes.

ALCOHOL CONTENT:

11,5% vol.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:

8 – 12°.

ACCOMPANYMENT:

A mellow accompaniment to shellfish and an excellent
aperitif. Marries beautifully with olive all’ascolana – green olives stuffed with meat or fish, rolled in breadcrumbs and then fried.

OPTIMUM AGE:

The wine’s crispness and aroma are at their best in the first year. Ages well up to two years, developing in flavour and maturity.
